This morning we were off to Boise to enjoy the Zoo and a trolley ride through downtown. The zoo is nothing like the Toledo Zoo. It was nice, just small and kinda disappointing after knowing and loving the Toledo Zoo. We are so spoiled back in Toledo. What's said is that the Toledo Zoo is one of the few things that Toledo has going for it.
After the Zoo we went on a trolley ride of Downtown Boise. We learned a lot of history and saw a lot of things we wouldn't normally notice. The kids loved it. We learned about Humphrey Bogart had a mistress in Boise and saw where she lived and he frequented. We learned that Walt Disney visited Boise and got his inspiration for Disneyland in Boise from the Natatorium. Back in the day it was much more than just a pool. Today, only the pool remains. A school sits on the rest of the property.
