The side airbags deployed but the front didn't. The rear bumper had to be ziptied on so it could be towed to the body shop. It was just hanging there and there is damage underneath of it. Rowan wasn't with him but his carseat was and it was thrown all over the backseat. The front tire is pretty much ripped off - the axle broken, as well as a lot of other stuff under the hood.
We are just thankful and praising God that Rob was not injured more seriously. Had the telephone pole not stopped the car, it would have flipped end to end after going into and out of the ditch before hitting the pole. Rob is a little shaken up about the whole thing. And he says he feels stupid. But he isn't bleeding and nothing major happened to him. Praise God!!!!

We have all been there and it is not stupid that is why it is called an accident. Praise God, Rob not hurt and Rowan was not with him.. We love you all.. Mom
Yuck! Right there with you in thanking God Rob was not more seriously injured. Life is such a precious gift & I think God gets a little ticked at us (myself included) when we don't appreciate it enough. (Not saying that the accident was caused by this or anything - just reflective today in light of some of the tragedies of recent history, i.e. -so many losses in the war, etc.) Each and every life is so precious to God, and it should be to us. Thanking God for my brother-in-law and all my family today. Hopefully we'll see you soon!
