While the girls and I were at the hospital yesterday, Rob and Rowan had a daddy/son day! They were given tickets to the Air Show at Willow Run. So they ventured out yesterday morning w/Melissa, Tom and Izzie for the show.
Rowan absolutely loved it. Rob said he was pretty much the only parent there that thought to bring ear protection for his kid. He had a pocket full of ear plugs and was handing them out to kids all day long. Rowan was excited about the helicopters and the blue rockets. He's convinced that the Blue Angels are rockets not planes, probably because of their loudness and their speed. He did at one point fall asleep though.
